Lone Peak High School Boys Basketball is identified by NIKE, Inc. as a top-tier program in the United States with a one-time consensus Top 5 national ranking, 1 National Championship, 8 Utah State Championships, 12 Region Titles, and ranked "#9 in the Top 25 High School Basketball Programs of the Last Five Years" by MaxPreps. 

Lone Peak High School is a member of the UHSAA (Utah High School Activity Association). For the 2017-19 seasons, we are classified as a 6A School and are included in Region IV. Region IV includes: American Fork, Bingham, Lone Peak, Pleasant Grove and Westlake.
